May 29th, 2016 - Benedum Heads to Tyler County for Jackpot 100
1Running with the World of Outlaws Craftsman Late Model Series, Mike Benedum traveled to Tyler County Speedway (Middlebourne, West Virginia) on Saturday night for the two-day Jackpot 100. Drawing thirty-three cars, Benedum edged his way into the $8,000-to-win A-Main with a 4th place outing in his heat. Starting in 16th, Mike fell two spots in the 40-lapper registering an 18th place finish.

The following night Benedum came up one position short of a transfer spot in his heat with a 5th place finish. Needing 3rd place finish or better to make the show, Mike Benedum cruised to a consolation win earning him an 18th place starting spot for the feature. With $10,000 on the line, Mike advanced two spots in the 60-lap A-Main logging a 16th place finish.

May 14th, 2016 - Mike Benedum Returns to Atomic for Inaugural Buckeye Nationals
1On Friday night Mike Benedum returned to Atomic Speedway (Chillicothe, Ohio) for the Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) inaugural Buckeye Nationals. With a stout field of forty-nine Super Late Models signed in, Benedum logged a 6th place finish in his heat sending him into the B-Main. Transferring the top two into the $50,000-to-win show on Saturday night, Mike came up positions short with a 4th place outing. Earning a spot into the non-qualifiers race, Benedum posted a 4th place finish in the 20-lap affair.
