A talent-laden field of thirty-two Super Late Models registered for the event, and struggles in time trials pinned Benedum deep in his heat race. After failing to reach a transfer position in heat race and b-main action, Mike was forced to utilize an LOLMDS emergency provisional to lock into the 26th starting spot on the feature grid. Benedum would ultimately retire early from the 50-lap main event to a disappointing 25th place finish in the final rundown.

Saturday's $10,000-to-win program scheduled for Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex fell victim to Mother Nature.

April 18th, 2015 - Top Ten for Benedum at Roaring Knob
1After rain stole another weekend of Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series (LOLMDS) competition Mike Benedum again found himself in action in a Weekly Racing Series Event at Roaring Knob Motorsports Complex (Markleysburg, Pennsylvania).

The night started on a sour note as Benedum was scheduled to start outside pole for his heat race, but under caution his throttle linkage broke. As a result he was forced to start on the tail of the feature. Despite starting deep in the field he raced his way to a ninth place finish.
